Mahesh Babu Foundation is a Hyderabad-based NGO founded by actor and philanthropist Mahesh Babu, along with Namrata Shirodkar, to support children and underprivileged communities. It primarily funds life-saving congenital heart surgeries for babies and children from economically weaker families, in collaboration with hospitals like Andhra Hospitals and Rainbow Hospitals. The foundation also runs scholarship programs to help meritorious students from low-income backgrounds access quality education. Beyond healthcare and education, it adopts villages and develops them into “smart villages” with better infrastructure, sanitation, and digital access. Over the years, the foundation has supported thousands of pediatric heart surgeries and continues to expand its impact across India.
